Material Of Construction – Standard Construction

  • Housing – Cast Iron internally coated with Zylon
  • End Plates – Cast Iron internally coated with Zylon
  • End covers – Cast Iron
  • Rotors – Ductile Iron Externally coated with Zylon
  • Shafts – Ductile Iron cast integrally with rotor Externally coated with Zylon
  • Bearings- Gear End – Double row ball Free end and drive shaft –Single row ball
  • Gears – Heat treated alloy steel, helical cut
  • Seals – DE & NDE – Double Lip seals mounted on SS shaft sleeve, Drive shaft – Double Lip seal
  • Lubrication – Oil splash system at both DE & NDE Oil chamber’s with water cooling Coils inside the Oil chamber.

Water Injection Manifold – Fitted inside the square Flange of the Suction Port for uniform water spraying on the end to end length of the Lobes surface Area.

Blower Offered With

  • Water Injection considered at pump suction for control of pump temperature & Suction Pressure
  • Air Injection considered at pump suction and Recirculation of the same through the bypass valve fitted across the pump is for initial heat up of the evaporator and drying of the blower before shutdown of the same
  • Pump Shaft sealing selected for 100% water wapour compression.

PLC/DCS Based Operation & Control Instrumentation For Blower Package

  • Pressure Transmitter at suction of the MVR Pump for measurement & control of Pressure, electrically interlocked to VF
  • Variable Frequency Drive for capacity & pressure control electrically interlocked to MVR Electric Motor
  • Temperature Transmitter at Discharge of the MVR Pump for measurement & control of Temperature, electrically interlocked to MVR by pass control Valve
  • MVR by pass control Valve fitted across the pump for air recirculation/blowing for initial heat up of Evaporator & MVR drying before shutdown, electrically interlocked to Temperature Transmitter at discharge of the MVR Pump.
  • Water/Air Injection control valve fitted at suction of MVR pump for control of suction Pressure, electrically interlocked to Suction Pressure transmitter.
  • Temperature sensor for MVR Bearing Temperature monitoring at DE &NDE,alarm/shutdown signal at excessively high temperature.
  • Temperature sensor for MVR Oil Temperature monitoring at DE & NDE ,oil splash lubricating chamber’s, alarm/shutdown signal at excessively high temperature
  • Flow switch at inlet of water supply to cooling Coils inside the Oil chamber’s at DE & NDE,MVR to Trip if water supply stops.

All the Instruments are skid mounted on the MVR machine having common base frame.

Electrical Control Panel

Type – Non Flame Proof

All Electrical Control Circuitry is placed inside the panel for sequential operation of the MVR.It consists of

  1. Mains Switch – Siemens/L&T or equivalent
  2. MVR ”ON & OFF” Switches
  3. VFD is fitted inside the panel
  4. PLC is Fitted inside the panel

Control Panel is skid mounted on the common base frame of MVR with Electrical Instruments Cabling to the Electrical Motor & Instruments.

Interconnecting Piping & Common base frame

By pass (butterfly or ball) valve with manifold at suction and is fitted across the MVR with interconnecting piping and MVR machine along with the Instruments and Electrical Control Panel is mounted on common base frame having easy access to all the equipments for operation and maintenance.
